Even with this being my second pregnancy, I had many questions and Kate was there for all of them, providing evidence based responses and helping us find information if needed. Kate has deep connections to a vast network of birth workers and advocates throughout southeast Michigan and helped us build out an incredible care team and birth plan.
Kate was such a calming presence during my labor and delivery, striking the perfect balance of encouragement and knowledgeable guidance as I had to make several decisions while in labor. Kate is incredibly engaged during the laboring process, paying attention to details throughout my pregnancy regarding our birth plan and honoring them during my labor. In addition, my partner felt comfortable asking Kate for guidance and advice as well which made him more confident throughout. If I were to have another baby, I would not do so without a Doula and if I were so lucky, I would absolutely want that Doula to be Kate.
Throughout postpartum, Kate remains responsive to my communication and questions, providing the same knowledgeable care that they did throughout pregnancy and delivery.
